Estephanie’s Three Minute Thesis

Supporting Multilingual Learners with WIDA and the UDL Framework

Language development is crucial to multilingual learners’ academic success and teaching practices should consider this when designing lessons and assignments. Implementing the WIDA standards for English language development and the UDL framework could help address multilingual learners’ variability. It can assist educators in anticipating students’ needs and making informed decisions to reduce learning barriers.
