Rules

* A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. No slide transitions, animations or 'movement' of any descriptions are allowed. The slide is to be presented from the beginning of the oration.

* No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.

* No additional props (e.g. costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.

* Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.

* Presentations are to be spoken word (i.e., no poems, raps or songs).

* Presentations are to commence from the stage or other designated stage area. DURING COVID, this will be on camera via Zoom.

* Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.

* The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.

What will be the title of your presentation?*

This does not have to mirror your actual thesis title. It should be "friendly" and easy to understand.

We put a small one-paragraph description on the web about your thesis topic. We reserve the right to edit for grammar and spelling.

We will need each person's PowerPoint slide in 16:9 ratio, no later than close of business on Monday, March 03. Will you be able to have the slide in the correct ratio and by the deadline?*
