The Influence of Learning Styles on Chinese Students’ Attitudes towards Peer Feedback: Developing a Survey Tool for Peer Feedback Training

Making peer feedback a successful tool is a critical issue in the second language writing context. Researchers call for further research on peer feedback training in the hope of creating a curriculum centered on successful peer feedback. In this dissertation, I analyze whether some learners whose learning styles gravitate around interpersonal communication are more likely to engage or be open to peer review. The findings will help Chinese English writing teachers understand the value of peer feedback on student writing, conduct more successful peer feedback sessions for their students, and support teachers to use peer feedback training in their English writing classes.
