Native American Student Perceptions of Online Degree Programs

A college degree is recognized as one of the most important factors in political, sociological, and economic advancement, and unfortunately Native American communities remain the most underrepresented in higher education. Online programs offer a potential pathway for Native students to earn a degree, yet the numbers of Native American students enrolled in online programs is extremely low. Understanding Native American student perceptions of online degree programs may ultimately lead to enhanced access for Native American students.
